Online and In Person APSI 2021

I have decided this will remain a work in progress.  Although most of the materials to be accessed during the APSIs this summer (2021) have been added, I am still working on the arrangement of the material as well as locating new and old material which may prove helpful for teachers this summer.  Both the Online and the In Person APSIs will have access to the material.  

Thank you for your patience as I locate materials I hope will be valuable to your teaching.   You might resist browsing too much on this particular site if you are in one of my APSIs this summer.  Mainly, to give me time to not only introduce the material, but to explain its use and revelence to your classes.  You are certainly welcome to browse the rest of the website — especially the poetry and short story section.

Let’s Write An Ode …..An ode is a lyrical poem that expresses praise, glorification, or tribute. It examines its subject from both an emotional and an intellectual perspective. Classic odes date back to ancient Greece, and they contain three sections: a strophe, an antistrophe, and an epode—effectively a beginning, middle, and end.   Most odes in contemporary poetry are irregular odes that take liberties with the form.
